Wilf Bagnall is the Green Finance Specialist for the UK Department for Business and Trade, having joined in 2022. He is focused on generating inward investment into green projects or businesses and supporting the transition of the financial services industry (in the UK and internationally) to more sustainable outcomes.
Prior to this Wilf was a Director at Infracapital, a leading European sustainable private equity infrastructure fund, part of M&G Plc, investing across all major energy transition sectors. He was primarily responsible for capital raising, working with global institutional investors, as well as being a member of the firms ESG Committee. Previously he held commercial and distribution roles within M&G Investments. Wilf holds a degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge and spent a year studying Management at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
