Alice Carr is Executive Director for Public Policy at the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ), which is working at pace to ensure that the global financial system can deliver on commitments to support economic transition to net zero by 2050 in line with 1.5 degrees. This includes working to ensure that global and national regulatory frameworks support transition finance and leading GFANZ work to support the Just Energy Transition Partnerships. Prior to this, Alice had a two-decade career in central banking, most recently leading the Bank of England's international strategy and policy division during the UK's G7 presidency and Covid crisis.
