Nick Pyatt works with Climate Sense. He specialises in strengthening capacity to make effective climate adaptation decisions. The objective of his work is for proportionate adaptation decisions to be made at the right time, reducing the cost of acting too early or too late. A particular focus of his work is to enable organisations who are just starting to engage with climate adaptation to ease their way into adaptive practice through processes they are able to engage with, to build on that and eventually embed practice as a mainstream activity. He has worked in this field across a range of sectors including: transport, energy, water, manufacturing, finance, insurance, health, ICT, heritage, agriculture, forestry, emergency response, Local and National Government.
