Ed is the Leader of the centre right Climate Party (pro business, pro climate) and is an advocate for urgent science led action on the climate.
Ed is also managing director of Scientists Warning Europe and led the SWE delegation at COP26. He is a Buckinghamshire Unitary Councillor, a member of the Pension Fund Committee and also of the Transport, Environment, and Climate Change Committee. For the Local Government Association Ed serves on the Environment, Economy, Housing and Transport Committee. A Parish Councillor in Hazlemere and Chair of the Climate Emergency Working Party.
Ed has featured on national radio, national TV, national, specialist and local press recently and is a regular speaker in many events.
