David has worked in sustainable investment for over 20 years. He is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and partnerships across all LSEG group divisions, having previously led sustainable investment for FTSE Russell, and sustainable finance strategy for LSEG’s Data & Analytics division.
David has held a variety of industry positions, including being a member of the European Commission’s High Level Expert Group (HLEG) on Sustainable Finance. He currently represents LSEG as a co-lead of the GFANZ workstream on Mainstream Transition Finance, as co-chair of the Transition Plan Taskforce sectoral guidance workstream, and as a co-chair of the FCA convened ESG Data & Ratings Working Group. He also Chaired the UN Sustainable Stock Exchange's work developing both Model ESG and Climate Reporting Guidance.
