Summary

City & Financial Global is delighted to announce that its 10th Annual Culture and Conduct in Financial Services Summit will take place on 4 February 2025 in central London. This prestigious, c-suite gathering is being held at a time when culture has returned as a key priority to the policy agenda of the UK’s financial regulators. By the end of this year, the FCA aims to publish a policy statement on  ‘Tackling Non-financial Misconduct in the Financial Sector’, and both the FCA and the PRA will be publishing further diversity and inclusion proposals early in the new year.

The Summit will provide practical guidance on the expectations of the regulators in terms of firms’ approach to both managing the risks of non-financial misconduct and promoting diversity and inclusion within their organisations. We are delighted that Emily Shepperd, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, Authorisations, Financial Conduct Authority, is already confirmed as a keynote speaker.

Other topics that will be covered by the exceptional speaker faculty include: best practice treatment of whistleblowers, the impact of AI on culture, how to measure cultural change, managing the situation where your and your customer’s values are in conflict, aligning remuneration with culture, incorporating sustainability into corporate purpose and the role of shareholders and other external stakeholders in shaping corporate culture.
