Oliver Peter King-Smith is an innovative entrepreneur and inventor specializing in AI, sensors, and healthcare technology. As the founder of smartR AI, he leads the development of safe, private AI models tailored for mission critical applications. Their flagship product, SCOTi® AI, is a generative AI solution customized for each client to enhance productivity and uncover insights from complex data sets.

Oliver's expertise spans chemical sensing, data visualization, and machine vision. He won the 2015 Gartner Cool Vendor Semiconductor award for his chemical sensing silicon chip and led the team that created the first wifi smart camera to win Best of Show at CES.

With a PhD in Mathematics from UC Berkeley and an executive MBA from Stanford, Oliver has founded three companies and contributed to two successful exits. Under his leadership, smartR AI has grown to over 20 team members and received multiple industry awards for its innovative AI solutions.
