Zygmunt's mission is "to make the world's networks quantum safe." He works with telecom industry and governments globally on the transition to Post Quantum Cryptography. Zygmunt is one of the co-founders of the GSMA Post Quantum Telco Network Task Force. He is one of the contributors to recent Quantum Risk papers from UK Finance and the GMSA.

Before joining IBM Quantum, Zygmunt worked in the CTO office in IBM's Telecom Industry. Zygmunt also has 38 patents in communications.
