Dr Paul Dongha is a pioneering figure in the transformational potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and stands at the forefront of integrating AI within Financial Services. During a career spanning 30+ years, Paul has cultivated a reputation for visionary leadership, guiding organisations in seizing AI opportunities, whilst maintaining a steadfast commitment to ethical principles.

Paul is the Head of Responsible AI and AI Strategy at one the UKs largest bank, leading a dedicated team of AI practitioners, and pioneering Responsible AI in the UK. Paul also leads the bank’s AI Strategy to ensure AI provides not only a highly personalised customer experience, but is also deployed ethically to augment colleagues day-to-day work.

Paul’s influence extends beyond corporate boardrooms and into the global arena, where he actively participates in international forums, policy discussions and projects aimed at setting global standards for responsible AI.

Paul has a PhD in AI, and was previously a university researcher and teacher in Computer science, and AI.
