Kirsten’s role is focused on ensuring the compliant, responsible and ethical use of data and AI to support BNY’s strategic goals. She leads the Global Privacy Office, is a senior leader within AI Governance & Controls, and serves on enterprise governance bodies covering AI, Data and Privacy, Insider Threat and Third Party Risk. Kirsten is also a Non-Executive Director of BNY Mellon Fund Services (Ireland) DAC.

Outside of BNY, Kirsten is the Chair of the Data Committee of the UK’s International Regulatory Strategy Group (IRSG) and a member of the IRSG Executive Board. She also serves on the Advisory Boards of the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) and the PICCASO privacy and security special interest group.
