Kirsten is BNY Mellon’s Chief Privacy Officer. She leads the company’s enterprise privacy program and manages a team of privacy specialists in the Global Privacy Office.
Kirsten’s current responsibilities include setting strategy, establishing effective governance and operating a privacy management framework that is responsive to the evolving regulatory landscape and enables business strategy. Kirsten and her team support all lines of business to understand and manage their privacy risks, drive enterprise privacy regulatory change implementation, and run enterprise privacy management tools and processes, including privacy impact assessments, incident management and training.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Kirsten was the Group Head of Data Privacy and Records Management at Lloyds Banking Group. Her career began in consultancy, where she spent 15 years helping global clients of EY and KPMG manage their privacy, cybersecurity and technology risks, in roles spanning advisory, assurance and solution implementation.
