Sophie is a Partner in the Digital Business Group. Her clients are predominantly in the technology, financial services and fintech industries and she advises them on a range of complex commercial and regulatory topics.

Sophie's expertise in relation to AI has focused on contractual, data protection and compliance framework issues, including in the context of regulated outsourcing, operational resilience and third party risk management. She regularly speaks about the issues organisations need to consider when building AI frameworks and functionality and how to procure AI solutions while managing risk and jointly leads the S+S forum for AI and financial institutions.

She has spent time on secondment with a number of major financial institutions and works very closely with a number of significant financial technology providers. Sophie regularly acts both on the customer-side as well as on the service provider-side, understanding the complexities of in business roll out and purchase/sale of complex technology solutions, including AI. The deep knowledge this gives her of how clients in the technology, telecoms, financial services and fintech industries operate and intend to utilise AI provides her with unique insight into the AI market.
