Martin Koder is an interdisciplinary leader in responsible AI delivery in financial services, currently overseeing the implementation of an AI governance framework at Swift. Inspired by the potential of data he retrained with an MSc in Artificial Intelligence following a twenty year career as a financial services policy and advocacy expert handling over a hundred global regulatory influencing campaigns particularly in the securities, market data, post-trade and pensions sectors. For the bulk of this time he acted as Head of Regulatory Strategy, Capital Markets at London Stock Exchange Group and can offer the unique perspective of a data science practitioner who combines a detailed understanding of the technicalities of AI together with seasoned experience in both international finance and global regulation, politics and policymaking. He enjoys translating between technical, business and policy ecosystems.
