Yukiko is Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, Privacy and Data Protection at Mastercard. She is responsible for European privacy and data protection matters and supports Mastercard’s account-to-account transfer solutions and Strategic Growth globally.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Yukiko worked as a global privacy counsel for Standard Chartered Bank, director for international business planning at TransUnion and policy analyst at Alston & Bird and Hunton & Williams’s Center for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL).
Yukiko is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and holds IAPP’s CIPP/E, CIPM and CIPT certifications. She earned BA in Law from Sophia University in Tokyo, MA in International relations from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the Johns Hopkins University and LLB (Hons) from the College of Law of England and Wales.
