Niki has more than 30 years of experience working across technological, regulatory and competitive changes in capital markets and has been instrumental in creating competition and change in financial markets throughout her career.

Market Structure Partners, MSP, specialises providing strategic advice on capital markets infrastructure issues. Since its inception in 2008, clients have included some of the world’s leading trading, clearing and settlement infrastructures, as well as market participants and regulatory and government bodies. MSP undertook the Study for the European Commission on the creation of a Consolidated Tape in Europe in 2020.

Alongside her role at MSP, she has over 13 years of experience as a non-executive director at both listed and private financial market infrastructure and financial technology companies. She is currently Chair of ClearToken, a new clearing house for digital assets and a Director of Iress, a listed, Australian, financial technology company and of The Financial Markets Standards Board, FMSB, a standard setting body for global wholesale markets.
She was previously Chair of privately owned XTX Markets, a quantitative-driven, electronic global market-maker and of Aquis Exchange Plc, a Pan European stock exchange, as well as having been a Director on the Boards of Kepler Cheuvreux UK Ltd, a French brokerage firm, MOEX, the Russian Exchange and Borsa Istanbul the Turkish Exchange.
