Alicia Blatiak is the founder and CEO of Gridicity, an electric vehicle energy management software start-up that optimises fleet charging, bringing potential cost savings, revenue opportunities, and a meaningful reduction in carbon emissions. With her recent completion of a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Imperial College, where she explored the role of electric vehicles with Vehicle-to-Grid in the future power system, Alicia has gained valuable insights in the field. Gridicity is currently part of an Innovate UK-funded project, collaborating with prominent industry partners, to develop practical solutions for fleets, focusing on energy management, carbon reduction, and grid services. Through strategic collaborations and the translation of research into tangible outcomes, Alicia is committed to contributing to a greener and more efficient energy landscape.
