With over 28 years in the energy sector, Paul’s experience in clean energy and the energy transition allows him to focus on his passions of driving and innovation and business growth in Net Zero. Before joining Voltempo as Chief Commercial Officer, he established Energy Systems Catapult’s accelerator (Energy Launchpad) and the International team – helping numerous UK cleantech start-ups commercialise whilst growing a portfolio of impactful international projects. Prior to ESC, Paul enjoyed 5 years at Ricardo, leading their global clean energy & power generation area. Before that he worked at Ocean Power Technologies and the Carbon Trust, managing low carbon technology programmes and supporting the investment team. Paul has a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University and an MBA from INSEAD.
