With over 20 years of cross-sector experience, Gemma is a strategic leader with expertise in conduct, operational improvement, customer and staff experience, governance, risk and control, and quality management. She has held senior roles across both public and private sectors, with a particular focus on embedding effective customer-focused cultures, leading large-scale transformation initiatives, and strengthening organisational governance frameworks.

Currently Group Head of Conduct and RC Policy at HSBC, Gemma has held a series of key leadership roles within the bank over the past decade, including Head of Conduct Risk and Culture for Markets and Securities Services, Chief Control Officer for Global Markets EMEA, and Head of Governance and Oversight in Global Banking and Market, Europe.
