Ruby Moshenska is a Safeguarding Consultant and Investigations professional with over nine years experience conducting investigations into sexual violence, sexual harassment, child abuse and abuse of power in the public and third sector.
She has a BTEC Level 7 Advance Professional Certification in Investigative Practice and has undertaken the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) Alliance Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Investigator Training. She has carried out and managed investigations in prisons for the Ministry of Justice, and across four continents for international INGOs.
Ruby specialises in trauma informed and survivor centred approaches to high risk and sensitive investigations into sexual violence and abuse of power. Her expertise includes:
• Carrying out face-to-face and remote investigations
• Managing investigation teams and supporting them to carry out complex and highly sensitive investigations
• Leading internal management teams to oversee safe incident management processes and manage risk
• Designing and delivering bespoke Investigation training for diverse stakeholders
• Developing Investigation guidelines and investigation tools, through a survivor centred and trauma informed lens
