Dr. Suzanne Morsfield is the Policy Advisor for CryptoUK, the UK’s leading industry association. She brings more than 15 years of data-driven international experience to her role as a thought leader in corporate reporting and regulation, currently focusing on digital assets.

In addition, Suzanne has been the Global Head of Accounting Solutions for Lukka, a global software and data company serving institutions and governments engaged with crypto assets. She has held sell-side and buy-side anaylses roles at Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan, respectively. Suzanne was an auditor at EY and also served as the Director of Research at Columbia Business School’s think tank, the Center for Excellence in Accounting and Security Analysis (CEASA). Suzanne joined the IFRS Foundation in 2015, where she led projects on improving the primary financial statements and related disclosures subject to IFRS-specific accounting standards. She has served on committees for both the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the IFRS Foundation, and was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Crypto Sustainability Coalition and its related Energy Usage Working Group.

Suzanne's academic experience includes contributions to London School of Economics, New York University, and other US universities. She holds a PhD from the University of Arizona and has won numerous teaching and research awards. She regularly writes and speaks about regulatory developments, and on corporate reporting and ESG matters as they relate to crypto and digital assets.
