Mike Carter is Senior Policy Adviser at Innovate Finance, providing expertise and commentary on the investment landscape for UK FinTech and on funding for the SME sector provided by FinTech platforms. He was closely involved earlier this year with City of London on the work to bring together DC pensions stakeholders for investing in Growth Capital, leading to the Mansion House Compact. Previously Mike was a senior Managing Director at a number of investment banks where he advised financial institutions on capital raising,M&A and strategy. Mike is also Executive Chair of The Money Platform, a FinTech lending company.
