Giulia is the Head of Secondary Capital Markets and Wholesale Investor Protection at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME). Giulia covers market structure and transparency issues across asset classes as well as conduct of business issues, both in the United Kingdom and the European Union.
Before joining AFME in 2022, Giulia worked at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) where she covered various policy roles across the organisation, leading on, and/or contributing to, retail and wholesale policy files. Prior to joining the FCA, Giulia worked for an international law firm (M&A and Capital Markets) and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Legislative Office).
Giulia holds an LLM in Banking Law and Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has a law degree from Luiss Guido Carli (Rome) during which she completed a semester abroad at the University of Glasgow, School of Law, within the Erasmus Programme.’
