Gabriel Lakeman’s practice is focused on advising central banks, broker-dealers, exchanges and trading platforms, market infrastructure providers, payment service providers and investment managers in both the traditional financial instrument and digital asset space on a wide range of complex domestic and cross-border regulatory issues, with particular experience with the FCA's Conduct of Business Rules, MAR, MiFID II, PSD2, and cryptoasset registration regimes. Gabriel also has experience in assisting a number of leading global firms to implement significant multi-jurisdictional regulatory change projects, in addition to advising a variety of fintech clients on structuring new products and trading platforms.
