Kate Finlayson is Global Head of FICC Market Structure and Liquidity Strategy at J.P. Morgan. In her role, Kate engages with clients on the impact of market structural developments and drivers of change. Kate and her team provide key insights on emerging execution trends, microstructural dynamics and policy initiatives shaping liquidity across global markets. Kate is a member of the U.K. FCA’s Secondary Markets Advisory Committee and a Trustee on the board of directors for J.P. Morgan Chase Pension Plan Trustee Limited, serving on the Investment Committee.

Kate has more than 25 years’ experience in financial markets, spanning Equities and Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities. Kate joined J.P. Morgan in 2017 from UBS AG where she held various positions in Equity Prime Brokerage, FX Prime Brokerage and Clearing Sales before moving to the FX, Rates and Credit Execution Services business as Head of Market Structure and Liquidity Strategy. Prior to UBS, Kate worked at Goldman Sachs International in Equity Capital Markets and Prime Brokerage.
