Emilien leads ClimatePartner in the UK and consults businesses on their Net Zero strategy. He supports and advises the likes of Nestle, Unilever and Boots in measuring and reducing their carbon footprint, as well as Beyond Value Chain Mitigation. Founded almost 20 years ago, ClimatePartner is an end-to-end solutions provider for climate action that works with over 6000 companies, over 500 employees and has offices in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the United States.
He was previously on the leadership team of Provenance, a certified B-Corp focused on supply chain transparency. Leveraging blockchain technology, Provenance helps businesses such as the Co-Op, Princes and Unilever communicate ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives with integrity.
He started his career in venture capital working with founders and investors at Crowdcube, an investment crowdfunding platform, followed by commercial and investor-relations roles in the food technology industry.
He studied Sustainability Business Management at the University of Cambridge and completed a BSc in Financial Economics at City, University of London. He is an ambassador for Future Planet, a community of sustainability professionals. His passion for sustainability stems from a young age and in his spare time he spends as much time as possible in nature, through his love for hiking, cycling and running.
