With over 11 years of experience at the Loan Market Association (LMA), Gemma is now Head of Sustainability, responsible for driving the Association's work on sustainable lending and supporting its documentation, education, and regulatory projects.

Gemma developed and published, in conjunction with our dedicated Committee the Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Loan Principles and Model Provisions, which set the standards and best practices for sustainable lending across loan products, as well as associated guidance materials. Most recently, Gemma has been focused on aiding the transition, investigating asset/activity-focused transition to enable the transition of all entities, not just those with the deepest pockets of knowledge and wealth.

Gemma has also expanded the LMA's thought-leadership and regulatory directory through the publication of the LMA’s latest quarterly publication, Horizons. Gemma also shares her insights and expertise on sustainable finance as a regular contributor to written media and speaker at conferences.
