Alastair Chisholm is Director of Policy at the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. He is responsible for translating CIWEM member expertise into technical and policy advice for decision makers at all levels, for environmental managers and the public. Alastair has particular interest in integrated water management and climate change adaptation and is a passionate sustainable drainage (SuDS) advocate. Alastair led the collaborative A Fresh Water Future manifesto for government CIWEM launched in January 2024, which advocates for several of these measures.
