Richard is the Head of Adaptation at the Climate Change Committee – the independent advisor to UK Governments on reducing emission and adapting to climate change. He is the overall lead for the Committee’s adaptation and climate resilience work programmes which delivers regular progress assessments of adaptation around the UK and undertakes the independent assessment underlying the UK’s five-yearly climate change risk assessments.
