Stefano Sirtori works as Team Leader in the Markets and Data Reporting department of the European Markets and Securities Authority (ESMA), with competence on market integrity and post trading matters. In particular, Stefano has developed an extensive experience in the policy and operational tasks connected with the application of the Market Abuse and Short Selling Regulations.

Prior to this, Stefano served as a Senior Officer at the Commissione Nazionale per le Societa’ e la Borsa (CONSOB), the Italian securities and markets regulator, and earlier worked as consultant for the KPMG network.

Stefano has a background in Law and Business Administration.
