Anna is an organic farmer and economist who pursues carbon and biodiversity markets that truly invest into the guardians of our precious lands and waters.
Anna has been involved in the carbon market from the beginning. She started CDM and JI project development in 2001. During the Kyoto Era she advised utilities under the EU’s Emissions Trading Scheme, served as investment advisor for two carbon market funds (ISCCP US$ 280m, CCISA Euro 80m) and held a Board Seat with the Climate Markets and Investment Association from 2008-2018 (www.cmia.net).
In 2019, Anna joined Wildlife Works as Global Director for Policy and External Affairs, where she advocates for social safeguards in carbon pricing regimes globally and co-founded the Peoples Forests Partnership with the aim to create a safe space for communities, companies and government to create trusted and equitable investment partnerships into nature and wildlife restoration and conservation.
