Simon is currently Head of Payments at NatWest, where he is responsible for implementing the Group’s Payment strategy including, Product and Scheme management, Operations and the delivery of Transformational change.

He has extensive Leadership experience across the Payments Industry, with expertise in strategic change programmes, cash management sales, operations and product management.

Throughout his career he has undertaken a number of roles in different organisations and functions including being Head of Design and Franchise Delivery at the Royal Bank of Scotland, leading teams to deliver changes to meet State Aid remedies.

Simon sits on many Payments Industry bodies including being chair of the Strategic Participant Group advising Pay.UK Board. He is also a member of the Payments Advisory Board at Pennies (pennies.org.uk), the charity that champions micro donations.
