John is Head of Strategic Policy at Pay.UK, which operates the UK’s interbank retail payment systems (Bacs, FPS and ICS) and a variety of central payment services, such as the Current Account Switch Service, Confirmation of Payee and Request to Pay. John previously held roles at the CMA, HM Treasury and the PSR. Before payments, he managed European equity funds, with a focus on activism and restructuring. He began his career in corporate restructuring at KPMG.
