The British Retail Consortium is the go-to trade association for all UK retailers, promoting the story of retail, shaping debates and influencing the issues that matter to the industry. The BRC’s purpose is to make a positive difference to the retail industry and the customers it serves, today and in the future. Chris leads the BRC's policy work on finance and payments, working with members to identify and develop priorities, and with regulators and other stakeholders to advocate for change. He Joined the BRC in April 2024 and his previous experience includes public policy roles in a wide range of organisations, including Which?, TikTok, and Ofcom.
