John is co-head of EMEA Equity Capital Markets Origination and is responsible for Equity Capital Markets (ECM) in both the UK and EMEA Growth Markets. He joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the EMEA Growth Markets ECM team in 2005. John transferred to Hong Kong in 2011 where he was responsible for ECM in Southeast Asia, and returned to ECM in London in 2014 He was named a managing director in 2017.

Prior to joining the firm, John worked in the Natural Resources Group within the Investment Banking Division at Deutsche Bank.

John earned a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2003.
