Mike is the Senior Policy Advisor at Innovate Finance, where he co-chairs the FinTech Unicorn Council’s Steering Committee, that represents the largest UK FinTechs in their discussions with the government and regulators. He has shaped Innovate Finance’s approach regarding the capital access for FinTechs, especially those serving SME lending. He co-authored the City of London report Powerful Pensions which led to the Mansion House Compact, and he was a member of the government's Asset Management Technology Working Group, providing recommendations for tokenisation and AI in asset management. Mike is an experienced investment banker with a strong understanding of the financial services sector and has long advocated financial inclusion and the democratisation of lending. Mike is also Executive Chair of The Money Platform, an early stage P2P lending company
