Sheldon Brown is Head of Policy & Engagement at the Quoted Companies Alliance (QCA). He leads the organisation’s policy agenda, representing the interests of small and mid-sized quoted companies and working with policymakers, regulators, investors, and member companies to ensure proportionate regulation and competitive UK public markets.

Before joining the QCA, Sheldon was Senior Policy Adviser at the Association of British Insurers (ABI), where he focussed on UK and international tax policy issues including OECD Pillar Two reforms, Life and Product Taxes, and ESG. He previously worked at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) as Senior Tax Adviser, where he led on domestic taxation and was part of their UK coronavirus response team.

Sheldon holds a degree in Economics from the University of Reading and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
