Jessica Lennard has had a multifaceted, 16-year career across law, public policy, regulation, government affairs, and communications. Her experience spans several highly regulated, technology-driven sectors including data and AI, digital and cyber, telecoms, cleantech and fintech. Her current work at Visa focuses on policy, regulation, ethics, and governance of data and AI.

Jessica sits on the Boards of TechUK and the UK Government’s Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation. She was previously a member of the Financial Conduct Authority/Bank of England Public-Private AI Forum and an Ambassador for Microsoft’s National Council for Artificial Intelligence (North America). Jessica trained as a capital markets solicitor at Linklaters, having completed an undergraduate degree in Law from Oxford University and a Masters degree in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
