Frank has more than 20 years of experience working in the financial industry, covering all aspects of the CRO agenda.
His primary focus over that period though has been the use of mathematical modelling in supporting financial reporting, risk analysis and decision making. He strongly favours pragmatic yet robust algorithms and models, that are rooted in a deep understanding of the business purpose they serve, and are embedded in a high quality governance and control setting that is enabled by reliable technology.
Starting from that vantage point, Frank started focusing on Trusted AI 3 years ago. He is EY’s EMEIA Trusted AI lead.
Frank is visiting professor at UGent, where he lectures on quantitative financial risk management.
