Julian is a partner with over 20 years’ experience of technology projects and is co-leader of Linklaters’ global Technology sector group as well as a global co-head of the Linklaters Fintech Group. Julian works on large scale digital transformation projects as well as advisory mandates in relation to data protection, information governance and other aspects of technology risk management. He also specialises in technology projects in regulated industries for many of our major clients, including banks, financial institutions, corporates and big tech companies among others. As well as providing diligence support for tech IPOs, he regularly advises clients on significant IT procurement, outsourcing and offshoring initiatives as well as strategic IT collaborations and M&A. Julian is also currently helping to drive Linklaters’ strategy in relation to digital transformation for clients, looking at key areas such as fintech, blockchain, artificial intelligence, internet of things and biometrics.
