Mark is accountable for the development of the electricity transmission system in Egland and Wales, and for the delivery of a portfolio of major infrastructure construction projects, including the £1bn London Power Tunnels project, the Hinkley Connection Projects.
Mark joined National Grid in 1998, Mark has held leadership roles across the electricity and gas, and UK and US businesses, including leading teams in the operation, construction and asset management of both the national electricity and gas transmission systems. Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, has a degree in Physics from Birmingham University, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership from Oxford Saïd Business School.
