Lisa Kettle is the Operations Director of the Nemo Link interconnector, responsible for the secure delivery of clean, affordable energy to 1.7 million homes in the UK and Belgium every day. In addition to striving for excellence in safety and availability in asset operations, she is Vice Chair of the management committee tasked with the most efficient and optimal commercial operations of the interconnector. Lisa joined National Grid in 2011 following a career in the highways industry in Ireland and the UAE.
Lisa has had extensive construction, procurement, contract management, major infrastructure delivery and operations experience, both offshore and onshore, in the UK, Belgium and USA. She led on the early commissioning of the Nemo Link interconnector in 2019, the subsequent early return by Nemo Link of approximately €200m to consumers through Ofgem's pilot Cap and Floor regime' in 2024, and the New York Energy Solution project in 2023 which unlocked 2GW of clean energy from Upstate New York to New York City.
