Rubayet is an experienced lawyer advising on high-profile energy and infrastructure projects globally. Whilst he has substantial experience of advising on project finance, PPP transactions in a range of sectors, he currently focuses on the development, financing and acquisition of renewable energy, energy efficiency and infrastructure projects which involve cutting-edge technology.

He primarily advises a range of clients including lenders, investors and government bodies in respect of key project documentation (EPC, O&Ms and services agreements) but also advises on investment and governance arrangements particularly on complex joint ventures.

He works closely with clients throughout the lifecycle of a project from bidding or acquisition through to completion and financial close, and throughout the operational period onto any disposal. Rubayet is a key member of the firm's Renewable Energy, Digital Infrastructure, Insurance Asset Management, ESG and Sustainability sector initiatives.
