James is a Partner at Flint Global supporting clients across a range of policy issues with a focus on economic infrastructure. Prior to Flint, James was Chief Executive of the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC), where he advised the UK government on strategy and policy for transport, energy, digital communications, water, waste and flood defences. James is a former Director of Digital Infrastructure in the UK government, where he advised Ministers on broadband, mobile and telecoms security policy. He is also a former Director of Policy at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), where he led on public policy, government relations and regulation.
