Amar is Co-Owner and Chief Executive of Agilia Infrastructure Partners, the specialist infrastructure consultancy. Amar has been at the heart of developing new models for UK infrastructure projects and programmes for over 20 years. Such new models include the development of the RAB based model for the £4.2 billion Thames Tideway Tunnel, where as Commercial Director, he led the development of the innovative and ground-breaking delivery model. Prior to that, whilst at HMT’s Infrastructure UK, he led the team developing and implementing the commercial arrangements for the UK’s multi-billion-pound waste PFI programme.

Amar is currently working with a number of clients on the development of major projects as well as new models for the delivery of infrastructure. Such clients currently include EdF the development of the proposed new nuclear power station Sizewell C, Portsmouth Water on the development of the Havant Thicket Reservoir Project which enables water supplies to Southern Water, DfT on the Williams Review and Network Rail on the Brighton Mainline Upgrade project.
