Matthew has approaching 30 years of experience financing major UK infrastructure projects. Starting with PFI projects in the mid-1990s, he has experience that spans PPPs, regulated utilities and energy transition. Recent highlights have included leading the teams acting as lender counsel on Sizewell C and the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP) and acting a sponsor counsel on the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) CO2 transport and storage project and the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) CO2 abated CCGT project that is the cornerstone emitter for NEP.
