Carlo leads the Commodities division at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) in London. He previously headed AFME’s Sustainable Finance work across the EU and UK, including on carbon markets and the revision of the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). Prior to joining AFME, Carlo was Head of Financial Services at the global consulting firm Weber Shandwick, advising major financial institutions on strategic and regulatory matters. He also brings extensive policy experience from his earlier roles at the European Commission’s DG GROW and the Italian Embassy in Mexico.
