Julia has over 15 years' experience in impact investing, climate finance and investment management across emerging and developed markets. Her focus is on delivering positive environmental impact alongside financial returns. Before joining Climate Asset Management, Julia was Global Director, Structuring at South Pole where she executed and managed investments in carbon markets. Prior to that, she was the Director of Responsible Investing at IFM Investors, where she designed and implemented ESG management processes for infrastructure equity and debt asset classes. Julia has been Principal Banker in the Sustainable Infrastructure Group at the EBRD, and she played a key role in the FIN-SMART Steering Committee, collaborating with the International Maritime Organization and the World Bank to develop financial solutions for decarbonising the shipping industry by 2050.

Earlier in her career, Julia has held investment banking and advisory roles, contributing to major financial transactions in emerging and frontier markets across Africa and the CIS.

Julia holds Masters in Finance from the Warsaw School of Economics and a CFA charter holder since 2010.
