Kate joined BSI, the UK’s national standards body, in 2015. Since then, she has headed up the development of national and international standards in a range of fields, including manufacturing, mobility, and materials.
Between 2019 and 2021 she was programme lead for the BSI standards strand of the UK Faraday Battery Challenge, developing and codifying standards in response to pressing challenges in the market.
In 2021, BSI partnered with ICVCM to set a global benchmark for high-quality carbon credits. Kate has been heading up the BSI team ever since, working with ICVCM to develop and establish high integrity standards for the global voluntary carbon market.
