Dave is Managing Director of Verco, an award-winning sustainability consultancy with a mission to make a material difference to global carbon targets. Dave has over 25 years experience advising governments and major corporates on carbon management, net zero strategies and energy efficiency.

Dave has extensive experience of both compliance and voluntary carbon markets as an advisor and project developer. Recent projects include; supporting a number of companies with SBTi target validation; the National Buildings Database project for DESNEZ, developing a 3D stock model of all UK property; development of NZ transition plans for global investment managers; leading research of net zero framework for international real estate investment for IPF; development of a whole life carbon roadmap for the UK housebuilding industry.

Current and recent working group roles include the carbon accounting task group of the UK Net Zero Carbon Building Standard UKNZCBS, UKGBC’s Commercial Retrofit Task Group, BSI’s Building Retrofit Task Group and Energy Management Committee, and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers’ Renewable Power Committee.
