She advises businesses on a wide range of emerging legal issues relating to data, cybersecurity, AI, and emerging technologies, including digital transformation and strategic technology projects and the respective contract negotiations. Catharina has significant experience with the launch of new digital and data driven ventures as well as privacy and AI matters on corporate M&A and tech transactions. She regularly advises clients, often in regulated sectors, on the use of data analytics, profiling and data exploitation, particularly for AI purposes as well as on AI compliance programs.

She has significant experience with crisis management and assisted in a number of data incidents, personal data breaches and cyber-attacks and accompanied clients in several investigations by data protection authorities and data litigation (e.g. on DSARs, damage claims).
